The house

The House for its beauty and unique architecture was described by the historian Dr.TÚLIO ESPANCA in the Artistic Inventory of Portugal of the National Academy of Fine Arts. As the old pharmacy of Monsaraz:

 "The CASTLE STREET, presently called JOSE FERNANDES CAEIRO, in honor to this benefactor of the village, keeps with the same characteristics, the real estate facades full of grace and populist charm, in evidence the ancient paharmacy of MONSARAZ. It has granite Portal and two bay windows. The lobby is very wide, of an extraordinary picturesque. Paved by irregular slabs of slate, retains imponent fireplace, access to upstairs consist in a stair with geometric plates, staggered and following the movement of the steps "in:.
